Families with children attending Polam Hall school in Darlington can apply now to check eligibility online using this Free School Meals and Pupil Premium Checker  

This must be done before the 1st September to ensure pupils receive a free meal for the start of the new academic year.  

We have sent out details regarding the up and coming changes to free school meal entitlement from September.

This applies to all families whether you receive a free meal now or not.

All pupils have to be rechecked to find out if they are still eligible.

If the check is not competed then unfortunately your child will not be eligible for a free meal when we return in September.

Therefore, it is really important that the eligibility check is completed as soon as possible.

Please note that children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will still receive a free meal under the Universal offer however can still apply under this system as they may attract more funding that can be used for support in school.
