Fundraising
We would like to thank the following organisations and individuals who have recently helped us to develop the curriculum and facilities which we can offer our pupils:
Eastbourne Community Hub very kindly donated £500 towards our Junior play facilities.
Classics for All who have awarded us a grant of £900 to fund training and resources to introduce the Minimus Latin course in our Junior School.
The All Saints and Salutation Ladies Fellowship who have kindly donated a bursary of £200 over the next five years to fund books for the Accelerated Reader programme which is used by Years 7 – 9 to improve their reading skills.
Polam Hall Parents Association (PHPA)
Below is a list of items the PHPA have funded throughout the school since Sept 2024. None of this would be possible without donations from parents so thank you all very much it all makes a huge different to the school. The items that the PHPA purchase / donate towards are items which would not normally be funded under the academic budget the school recieves.
Funding outdoor equipment and books throughout the school to celebrate World Book Day 2025.
Year 7 Book Trust Bookbuzz
The PHPA have donated £213 (1/2 full cost) towards the 2025 Year 7 intake scheme. Each Year 7 will have the opportunity to choose one of 16 books. This emphasises the importance of reading to the new Year 7 intake in Senior school.
YEAR 6 Leavers Party
We have donated £98 towards the Year 6 leavers party which will happen closer to the end of the year
PHPA Prefect Ties
The PHPA are donating £1047 to bulk purchase prefect school ties for the children who are been awarded the responsibility of becoming a year 11 prefect. These will be used over the coming years.
PHPA Supporting the Music Department
The PHPA have donated £255 to our school music department to fund the purchase of 'Christmas Praise Carol book with wind band set'. These carol books will be used by children throughout the school from years 3-11. They will be used at various festive events the school have planned.
We have donate £500 for revision aid to assist our year 10 and 11 GCSE students. We wish them all the best.
We have purchased a Polam Hall bear for all of the new Reception children as a welcome gift we hope that they cherish them.
We have funded £450 towards Zoolab workshops for years 3-5.
We have donated £600 to fund an author to visit school for Reception-Year 6.
£299 for an sand and water activity and imaginary play station for infants.
£876 for a poly tunnel in preparation of the reintroduction of Polam gardening club.
