Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to invite you to our Meet the Teacher Event, which will take place on Wednesday 16^th September between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.

This informal session provides an excellent opportunity for you and your child to meet their new class teacher and find out more about the exciting learning opportunities planned for the year ahead. 

During the event, you will be able to:

• Meet your child's class teacher and support staff.
• Learn about the curriculum and key topics that will be covered this year.
• View examples of the work and learning activities your child will be completing.
• Access and explore the online platforms we use to support learning, including:
  • Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS)
  • Spelling Shed
  • Arbor
  • Satchel One
  • Tapestry (Reception children only)

There will also be information available about important assessments that take place throughout primary school, including:

• Phonics Screening Check (Year 1)
• Multiplication Tables Check (Year 4)
• Key Stage 2 SATs (Year 6)

Our staff will be on hand to answer any questions and provide guidance on how we can work together to ensure your child has a successful and enjoyable year.
