SEND and Inclusion
BackPolam Hall is an inclusive school with high expectations of all our pupils, whatever their age, gender, ethnicity, attainment, educational needs and background.
We are committed to providing an inclusive education in which the teaching and learning, outcomes and welfare of every young person matter. We aim to do this through the following:

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Working in partnership with pupils, parents and professionals to understand any barriers to learning.

Delivering high quality teaching with adaptive strategies grounded in evidence based approaches.

Supporting learners with additional needs accessing learning with appropriate interventions to support their development and engagement.
We have a highly skilled team of staff working to support pupils with special education needs in Polam, including learning support assistants, SEN Lead Practitioners and of course our teachers themselves.
