    Geography

The Geography department at Polam Hall is dedicated to enriching students learning experience by underpinning geographical themes with skills that are transferrable in their education and adult life.

We study the “why of where.” Through learning about human and natural phenomena, and the interaction of both. We are observers and analysts of space, place, and environment on scales from the local to the global.

Geography is a multifaceted discipline that bridges the social sciences, the humanities, and the physical sciences.

Geography Edexcel A specification takes a thematic approach, with content organised by physical and human environments. It also enables students to explore the people-environment challenges we face in the UK.
