    Careers

Effective and independent careers guidance is an important part of the broad and balanced education which we provide at Polam Hall School.

To ensure advice is unbiased we employ the services of ‘CareerWave’ who deliver sessions and 1:1 interviews to Years 11 and 12. The Head of Careers and Head of Sixth Form work to deliver a high quality careers provision in school.  Their roles also involve developing work based learning skills, interview techniques and essential advice on all the various progression routes including university, apprenticeships and employment.

We are also in partnership with Darlington 11-19 CEAIG network, TVCA and the Careers and Enterprise Company and are constantly developing industry links. We are soon to be assigned a Business Mentor/Enterprise Adviser through the above organisations.
