Curriculum Intent
At Polam Hall School our Religious Studies Curriculum aims to:
Enable learners to respond to a global landscape of religious belief and diversity.
Help our children and young people to hold balanced and well informed conversations about religion and belief.
Engender an interest in exploring, understanding and showing respect for different faiths and cultural diversity.
Develop a knowledge and acceptance of religions and worldviews.
Examine theology, philosophy and social science within a historical context.
Foster the ability to “disagree agreeably”.
